This is a delicious and easy recipe for those that love pepper soup. In this recipe, I used lamb meat which can be substituted with GOAT meat.
Onion
3
garlic cloves
3
unripe plantain
2
red chili pepper
Blended
pepper soup spice
Knorr
cube
Salt
Fresh
basil (substitute – scent leaf)
Lamb
(nicely diced)
Instructions
- Blend the onion, chili pepper, and garlic cloves in a blender with little water.
- Pour the blend into a pot, add the diced lamb or goat meat, a pinch of salt and Knorr. Simmer for 5 mins for all the spices to combine thoroughly.
- Add 11/2 cup of water to the meat and taste. Add more seasoning if need be.
- Cook for another 10-30 mins depending on the kind of meat (I used soft lamb hence 15 mins).
- Chop the plantain into large chunks and add it to the boiling pepper soup. Cook for another 20 mins.
- Add the chopped basil or scent leaf and stir.
- Turn off gas stove and serve.
Enjoy!!!
