There is this
saying that you are what you eat. You want that summer body then you need to
build your abs in the kitchen. I for one, I'm not an everyday gym person
(except for squats! I squat like there is no tomorrow) that’s why I put a lot
into what I take into my body. I made a
salmon platter for brunch today and it was yum yum. Salmon is a sumptuous and savory
dish which is quite easy to make. Research shows that salmon is a healthy
seafood which contains so many nutrients such as omega 3, vitamins, protein and
lots more. This easy recipe will wow your friends and family coming over for
Christmas. Try it and leave your
feedback in the comment section.

2 cut salmon
4 Irish potato
Red cabbage
Lettuce
Spinach
Beetroot (diced)
Cilantro
Lemon
Black pepper
1 tbsp melted butter
5 green chili pepper
4 green paprika pepper
1 red bell pepper
Fresh parsley
4 garlic cloves
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cardamom
Salt to taste
Bouillon cubes
1/4 cup olive oil
Scallion
Instructions
Salad
- Finely chop the red cabbage, lettuce, spinach and cilantro.
- In a bowl combine the veggies, diced beetroot and freshly squeezed lemon juice and set aside.
Baked Irish potato
- Wash thoroughly and cut each potato into two equal half (do not peel the skin).
- In a cooking pot, combine the chopped potato, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Then bring to boil for about 10 mins. Once done allow to cool down.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Rub 1 tsp of melted butter around a baking tray and place the potatoes side by side.
- Bake for 15 mins till it's brown and set aside.
Salmon
- Season the salmon with salt, black pepper, 1 tsp olive oil and 1/2 bouillon cube. Bake along side with the potatoes for 10 mins. This means you will remove the salmon before the potato is ready.
Chili Sauce
- In a food processor, blend the paprika, bell pepper, green chili pepper, a bunch of fresh parsley, garlic cloves, and onion to get a coarse texture.
- Heat 1/4 cup of olive oil in a pan and add the mixture. Allow to fry for 7 mins.
- Add 1 tsp cardamon, salt, and bouillon cube. Fry for another 8 mins and turn off the gas stove.
Plate the salmon with the baked potato, chili sauce, and veggies.
Enjoy!!!
