Wings are my favorite part of chicken because they taste so good and can serve as a mouth-watering starter for several occasions, especially during the Christmas season. Today's recipe is super easy and simple to follow. This finger-licking wings recipe is a mixture of sweet, hot and herbal spices.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken wings
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. raw honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder (optional if you don't like spicy food)
- Sesame seeds
- Scallion
- Wash the chicken wings and cut into two halves.
- Place the wings in a pot and add the spices - oregano, rosemary, soy sauce, raw honey, minced garlic, black pepper, a pinch of salt and chili pepper (optional).
- Stir to allow all ingredients combine and then cook at a low heat for about 20 mins.
- Preheat the oven to 1800°C and line the baking tray with paper.
- Place the slow-cooked wings in the tray.
- Bake for 15 mins until it turns brown turning each side.
- Garnish with scallion, sesame seeds and pair with greek yogurt or salad.
Enjoy!!!
