Spicy Garlic Honey Buffalo Wings

Wings are my favorite part of chicken because they taste so good and can serve as a mouth-watering starter for several occasions, especially during the Christmas season. Today's recipe is super easy and simple to follow. This finger-licking wings recipe is a mixture of sweet, hot and herbal spices.

Ingredients
  • 6 chicken wings
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. raw honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional if you don't like spicy food)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Scallion
Instructions
  1. Wash the chicken wings and cut into two halves.
  2. Place the wings in a pot and add the spices - oregano, rosemary, soy sauce, raw honey, minced garlic, black pepper, a pinch of salt and chili pepper (optional).
  3. Stir to allow all ingredients combine and then cook at a low heat for about 20 mins.
  4. Preheat the oven to 1800°C and line the baking tray with paper.
  5. Place the slow-cooked wings in the tray.
  6. Bake for 15 mins until it turns brown turning each side.
  7. Garnish with scallion, sesame seeds and pair with greek yogurt or salad.
Enjoy!!!
